Glenn Hughes joins VH-1 Classic TV “That Metal Special” NYC

Due to the weather in New York City and surrounding areas, it’s now looking like the in-studio taping where Glenn Hughes was scheduled to perform, has been cancelled. If things change, a further update will be announced!

Glenn Hughes will be a guest on an upcoming VH-1 Classic, “That Metal Special” TV show, which is to be filmed on Tuesday, October 30th, 2012 in New York City and which will then be broadcast on Sunday, November 11th, 2012 @ 8/7c.

In addition to being interviewed, Glenn will perform some of his songs and also be a member of the very special house band including Brian Tichy and Alex Skolnick plus surprises 😎

Hosted by Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson of That Metal Show, the hosts return to their New York roots to celebrate VH-1 Classic’s National Metal Day. They’re dusting off their old set and inviting some of their favorite guests, as well as a very special house band, to assist them in bringing metal to the people!

That Metal Special” is a 90 minute roundtable talk show where legends of rock hang out and discuss all things hard rock and heavy metal. The show will feature highlights from the past TMS seasons as well as several in-studio performances.

Glenn Hughes to be guest guitarist on VH-1 “That Metal Show” 2011

Glenn Hughes will be a guest guitarist (bass) on an upcoming edition of “That Metal Show” – on the USA based cable TV channel, VH-1.

It was filmed on Wednesday, October 19th, 2011 in Los Angeles, and the 2 episodes he’s featured on will premiere on Saturday, November 19th (Slash and Sam Dunn) and Saturday, December 17th (Sully Erna and Jesse James Dupree). Hosted by Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson, the show is now in it’s 9th season

Glenn will be featured on Shows 5 and 6 when Season 9 hits the airwaves…

BCC Best New Band of the last 10 Years

On a recent episode of USA cable TV channel, VH-1 Classic‘s, “That Metal Show“, Black Country Communion was unanimously named the No. 1 Rock/Metal band of the last 10 Years.

After each of the 3 hosts, Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson; made their own Top 5 list of best rock/metal bands, they compiled a master Top 5 list from the 15 bands. The 3 hosts and the entire audience decided straight away that Black Country Communion was without a doubt, the No. 1 band.

Congratulations to the best new rock/metal band in the world, Black Country Communion 😎

BCC ‘2’ NYC Bound!

Glenn Hughes will be in New York City next week promoting ‘2‘, the upcoming album from Black Country Communion.

He’ll be a featured guest on the Eddie Trunk Live broadcast over @ “The Boneyard” that can be found on Sirius Channel 19/XM Channel 53, between 6-10:00PM ET.

In addition, he’ll be appearing Tuesday night on the VH1 broadcast, “Classic Rock Nights” hosted by Eddie Webb at 7:00PM ET.

Glenn will be a guest on an upcoming VH-1 “That Metal Show” – it is to be filmed on Thursday, March 3rd, 2011 in Los Angeles. Hosted by Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson, the show is now in it’s 7th season and has now been extended to 1-hour each show 😎
