NAMM JAM 2001

[February 3, 2001]

Glenn Hughes made a special guest appearance with guitarist Ronnie Montrose and his band at what was called "NAMM JAM 2001" at The Phoenix Club located 4 miles from the Anaheim Convention Center. The whole thing took place on Friday night Jan 19th 2001, during the days of the NAMM trade show.

Ronnie Montrose's band consisted of Myron Dove (played w/Santana) on bass, Edward Roth on keys, and Jim Paxson (played with Alanis Morrisette) drums. It was a "by invitation only" party with passes available from any of the participating sponsors (500 person capacity in total). Therefor Glenn and Gabrielle set us up with a bunch of passes that some of you out there were lucky to win in a competition hosted together with David & Shirean of the Glenn Hughes Picture Gallery web site. Among the winners were Amy and Brent Angelo, Carol Bailey-Sumber, Mike Caniff, Rueben Flores, John Gallagher, Ann Green, Howie, Dan Laframboise. Ko Mitani, Noriko Yamamoto-Mitani and Todd Seely. You will find some of them in the pictures below.
