The critically acclaimed Anglo-American rock supergroup Black Country Communion will kick-off their highly anticipated debut nationwide UK tour tomorrow evening at the Llandudno Cymru Arena in North Wales. BCC have also just announced that a live DVD & Blu-ray, documenting the European dates, will be released in October 2011.
Comprised of Joe Bonamassa (guitar, vocals), Jason Bonham (drums), Glenn Hughes (vocals, bass) and Derek Sherinian (keyboards), BCC’s UK tour dates include Llandudno Cymru Arena (Sat July 23), London’s High Voltage Festival (Sun July 24), Leeds O2 Academy (Tue 26th July), Newcastle O2 Academy (Wed 27th July), Glasgow O2 Academy (Fri 29th July) and Manchester Academy (Sat 30th July).

Lars Ulrich from Metallica receives his copy (he wrote the Foreward) of the Glenn Hughes limited edition Autbiography yesterday (“Deep Purple & Beyond: Scenes from the Life of a Rock Star“), backstage at the Sonisphere Festival in the UK.
Glenn recalls…
“Lars… the lil’ lad from Copenhagen with his ‘ol mate Hughes book… I met Lars when DP played Copenhagen in ’73… he wanted my autograph. I saw how young he was and went directly to him and his Dad… sweet. My book in Paperback, will be in the stores this October @ a price you can all afford… I love u all… be a nice Xmas present… GH”
Hand binding of all the pre-ordered limited edition sets is well underway, and the publishers expect to start shipping within the next 2-4 weeks.
