In late 1999, Glenn Hughes recorded a version of "America The Beautiful", to be used on the WWF Smackdown show on the UPN television network. Many of you out there recognized Glenn's voice and had tried to locate copies of it. Glenn's good friend Ken Ciancimino, got a clean copy with Glenn's voice and guitar only and we are now proud to make it available to all of you out there as a special gift.

Ken says:

"It is magical! The sweetness of Glenn's voice and the melody of this song make this rendition very heartfelt. I am sure many will be touched.

America The Beautiful (only the first verse)

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties,
Above the fruited plain.
America! America!
God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood,
From sea to shining sea.

America The Beautiful was written during the Summer of 1893 by Katharine Lee Bates, an English teacher, professor, and poet.
