(Richie Kotzen). Richie Kotzen came into the studio on the third or fourth day of recording. He and Glenn had written a couple of numbers together earlier in the year, and one of those songs, a super-funky cut titled Against The Grain, had originally been written by the pair with FEEL in mind. By the end of the album sessions, however, it was clear to Glenn that the version that he and Richie had recorded that day was just a little *too* funky to be included anywhere on the album as it ended up, and so the song was ultimately set aside
for potential use at some later time. It was a good song though, and Richie,
(though a little shy at first), turned out to be a really nice guy.
