GRAMMYS' PARTY!

Last night Glenn attended a Grammys' Party at his good friend's shop, John Varvatos, on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood (Los Angeles), California.

The band Alberta Cross played. Friends such as Alice Cooper, Jeremy Piven, Cindy Crawford, Randy Gerber and fellow musicians were all in attendance! You can now view some pix from the evening's event.

BLACK COUNTRY

Glenn Hughes, Jason Bonham, Derek Sherinian, and Joe Bonamassa Form New Super Group,
BLACK COUNTRY.

A new super group has been formed with Jason Bonham, Glenn Hughes, Joe Bonamassa and Derek Sherinian. They are calling themselves Black Country, taking their name from the industrial area in England from which Bonham and Hughes both hail. The band is currently in the studio with producer Kevin Shirley (Black Crowes, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin) cutting tracks for an upcoming album to be released in late 2010 or early 2011.

NEW PROJECT

There is a lot of speculation and talk about the new project that Glenn is involved with, and at this stage, all we can say, is that an official statement/announcement is forthcoming and will be made very soon. However, this will not be made until the time is right.

As soon as there is any news relating to the project, 'glennhughes.com' will have all the details and updates for you.

COME TASTE THE BAND REMIXED

Glenn has been busy over the Holiday Season, in a Malibu, CA. studio with music producer, Kevin Shirley, working on a remix of the classic Deep Purple MK. IV album, "Come Taste The Band".

Still a work in progress, songs that have received the treatment so far include, 'You Keep On Moving', 'Gettin' Tighter', 'Dealer' and 'I Need Love'.

PINK CLOUD RETURNS

Originally launched in 2000 as Pink Cloud Records, Glenn has recently relaunched the label as Pink Cloud. All titles will be offered as digital downloads only, no physical CD pressings. They will be available from a variety of online sources including well known outlets such as Amazon.com and Apple's iTunes Store.

Titles such as Burning Japan Live, Feel, Addiction, The Way It Is, A Soulful Christmas, Incense & Peaches, Building The Machine, Return Of Crystal Karma, Songs In The Key Of Rock and Freak Flag Flyin' are now available.

AUTOBIOGRAPHY DUE 2010

Glenn's long awaited Autobiography is scheduled for publication in 2010. Co-written with world renowned music author, Joel McIver and with a Forward from Lars Ulrich (Metallica), it will be published by UK based, Foruli Publications.

The book title is:
The Life, Near Death and Rebirth of
A Rock Star: Deep Purple & Beyond

There will be 2 versions; both very high quality numbered Limited Editions with many special features. The 'Regular' Limited Edition and a signed by Glenn and Joel, 'Deluxe' Limited Edition.

You can now pre-order the luxury "Deluxe" limited edition direct from the publisher. Keep in mind the price includes a personal signed note of thanks from Glenn on special notepaper, plus an invitation as Glenn's guest to special gigs in Europe and North America and the opportunity to meet him.

An official application for Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch is now available in the iTunes Store. With Tour Dates, Music and Video.
