Ontario Motor Speedway - Construction of the 800 acre facility began in 1968. The track was in operation from 1970 thru 1980 and hosted both California Jam music festivals ('74 and '78). For several reasons, one being rising land values, the property was sold and the track demolished. Commercial buildings now occupy the site. It's sad that such a piece of history was lost.
