Lightbulb Glenn & Ray

This is an excellent pic from an underdocumented Glenn-year; 1987.

Can you tell us what the occasion was when the pic was taken? It seems like they're posing or was it a real live event???

Keep them coming!

Icon34 Winter of 1987...

taken during the sessions for Phenomena II: Dream Runner, the second project album from Tom Galley. Other players on that album included John Wetton (King Crimson/Asia) and Max Bacon (Bronz/GTR) amongst others.

Icon49 Did It All For Love

Since Phenomena II Dream Runner is mentioned here, thought I'd post this video from 1987 that might be of interest - Did It All For Love.

Don't believe Glenn is in it, unless he's one of the folks with their back's turned in front of the stage Nevertheless, you should recogonize a few faces such as Mel Galley, Ray Gillen, John Wetton, Pete Jupp and more!

Did It All For Love German 7''

... and here's the front & the back of the German 7'' p/s release on the Ariola (BMG) label.
Completists are well aware that it was also available as a 12'' Maxi Single (as stated on the back of the p/s)!

Haven't found it elsewhere on the forum, so I thought, I'd post it here.

Cheers,
Christian

Icon43 more VOW WOW connections

.... and this is where the circles closes:

Only a year and a half prior to that song from their Vibe album, around the same time that Phenomena II came out, VOW WOW collaborated with another Phenomena II artist.....
..... John Wetton.

They released their EP "Revive" on Eastworld in the same year with Wetton producing, co-writing and playing bass guitar on the remixed version of "Don't Leave Me Now".
All other bass guitar duties were handled by Neil Murray.

Small World, huh...

Cheers,
Christian

Here's a rare shot of Glenn and Ray, along with George Lynch in Los Angeles, 1993.
