Rock N Roll All Stars - South and Central America 2012

Glenn will attend a press conference this Thursday, March 1st @ 12 Noon PT, hosted by promoter Gabe Reed to officially announce the Rock 'N' Roll All Stars tour of South and Central America in April/May 2012 at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California. Along with Glenn, also expected to attend the press conference are Gene Simmons, Matt Sorum, Duff McKagan, Gilby Clarke and Sebastian Bach.

Comprised of musicians from some of the biggest bands in recent rock history, the Rock 'N' Roll All Stars is a live show unlike any before!

Band members include:

* Joe Elliott (DEF LEPPARD)
* Matt Sorum (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES)
* Duff McKagan (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES)
* Gilby Clarke (GUNS N' ROSES, ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA)
* Glenn Hughes (BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION, DEEP PURPLE)
* Ed Roland (COLLECTIVE SOUL)
* Sebastian Bach (SKID ROW)
* Steve Stevens (BILLY IDOL)
* Mike Inez (ALICE IN CHAINS)
* Billy Duffy (THE CULT)

SOUTH AND CENTRAL AMERICA...What about NORTH AMERICA ?? Another of these "All-Star" Tours that always sound better than they turn out to be. Last tour like this I attended was a horrid show, and even the earlier "Happy Together" Tours, which I attended to see Leslie West and Mountain, were very underwhelming. So Glenn goes to UK, Russia, Central and South America, and they even have the Press Co0nference in the USA but add no dates for the USA....I am becoming jaded.

Frank, why don't you hopp over to Costa Rica and grab them together with Charlie Sheen...

Glenn and Sebastian Bach, Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum, Gene Simmons and Gilby Clarke were in attendance today at the Press Conference... here's a couple of snaps from earlier

I have to wonder what makes Gilby Clarke an "all-star" or for that matter, Sebastian Bach ?? Now Duff and Simmons and Sorum I can definitely call "All-Stars", along, of course, with Mr. Hughes. But honestly, none of these guys are really in Glenn's class as a musician, songwriter or vocalist...

Don't forget, the press conference was held in the 'City of Angels', where everybody SEEMS to be a (wannabe)star...

I prefer the expression artist or musician.
