What a great time at the Pageant. First off it was fantastic meeting Chip and having a brew with him. So easy to talk to and he put me right at ease. Thanks for that Chip. Also met Mark Hoffman from the fan forum there. Good people.
My ticket was in the balcony so that was the view of the show. BCC has a huge sound live. The you-tube videos just can't capture that. You must see them live to get the full effect. Totally blown away by this group! Jason Bonhams' drumming was spectacular. Derek Sherinian was immersed in his playing and it showed by the sounds that swirled about. Joe Bonamassas' new(old) '50s Les Paul had incredible tone on those crunching left-hook riffs. I think this is one of the top performances by Glenn that i have seen(more on that with Indy). This band is a must see and hear experience.

Here are a few of the 250+ photos I took of the night. Had a great time. I only had two disappointments during the night. One, was I didn't get to spend time with Kevin (trapezoid) and Mark Hoffman after the show. Had some time before though, so that was cool. Two, being it was St. Louis, a huge Trapeze town, I was sad not to hear Medusa. Should have been added to the setlist in my opinion. And maybe add a second encore with Black Cloud. That would have brought down the house for sure. Other than that, a fantastic night at a fantastic venue. Heard that there were a few bucks dropped at the vintage guitar shop next door
