These pics are really unique! Just a couple of days ago, another 1975 "Stormbringer" clip surfaced:
YouTube - Deep Purple | Hamburg '75 | Very Rare Footage!

Ok, the quality is really bad. But still, it has a historical meaning to me as I can very proudly say - I WAS THERE! And it was the second time I saw the Purps at the Ernst-Merck-Halle after 1973 with Mk2 - shortly before they split

Also playing at this event was a band called "Elf" - the singer being a certain Ronnie James Dio. It was Easter Sunday, and right after the hols I bought this LP:
YouTube - Elf - Carolina County Ball

P.S. No offence meant, me dear David, but - Austria is not Germany. Let's just call it Europe - or the other side of the pond

I'd love to get releases of the complete shows from the Stormbringer European shows that were used to put "Made In Europe" and MkIII: The Final Concerts" together, much the way the individual Rainbow '76 German shows were released. Some people prefer the Burn tour performances, but I've always felt that final Mk. III tour had some special stuff, based on what I've heard of it.

Here's the colored version of the "Stormbringer" clip.

It was supposedly aired on a children's program called "Info" on the German ARD channel 1975.

A production sheet from recordings with the Stones Mobile in Graz 1975.
Engineer was Martin Birch.

I'm sure some of the musicians here will be able to explain what the numbers mean (1, 9, 17 etc.) - the individual recording tracks?

I believe the numbers (1,9,17) represent the tracks in groups of 8. I believe in 1975, the Rolling Stones Mobile recording studio had 24 tracks and the configuration was in groups of 8 tracks (when the mobile was constructed, it started with 16 tracks). Now, I'm not sure if the grouping made it easier for track bouncing or reducing bleed on the reel-to-reel recorder (2 inch - 24 track) or was this a preference and how the track meters were stacked (1-8, 9-16, 17-24). Lioness, you have peaked my interest to look this up in some of my 'old' recording books! Thanks.
