Just got home after an absolutely fantastic show
It was one of those occasions when you can say "
I WAS THERE". At the birth of a music giant in the making?
First off, a massive

for Joanne Shaw Taylor.
Wow, now that is my kind of hard n heavy blues rock.
I can see why Classic Rock have rated her so highly - 3rd best blues album of 2010.
She's going to be supporting Glenn on his 2011 solo tour at the Buxton and York shows

She also signed cd's at the merch stall after her set so got both signed - check her out -
JST
BCC came on at 8.30 and the pace, power and sheer talent of 4 guys on top of their game shone thru
I cant remember the set list but they opened with
Black Country and proceeded to kick the ass out of the entire album - tho not in the album order.
Also threw in an unbelievably great version of a Led Zep song whose name escapes me right now

a Joe B number and an encore of Burn that went down a storm. Standing ovation all round the upstairs balcony
I have to say that Jason Bonham was brilliant. Easily as good as Chad with GH

When i say he played "lead drums" you'll hopefully get the idea. A real character who got the crowd going.
Derek had a chance to shine and add the layers and Joe was

A great live voice on his songs too.
All four were really tight as if they were halfway through a major tour.
This was Glenn back in his element and where he belongs - the big stage.
Sorry no pics but shot a bit of video. I bet there's plenty on Youtube before i get a chance to post though.
An absolutely brilliant show - think i said that already
Oh, and an
11 date UK solo tour with full dates confirmed too!
