Great pictures! I like that backdrop they are using also. Fits well with the album, it is power-packed.

Brand new for this tour - used when they have a stage with room to install it

Glenn played a magnificent couple of sets at Prague and Zlin here in the Czech Republic. Any GHCPs in waiting to see Glenn in Italy, Holland and the Wolves, Liverpool and London are in for a treat. I arrived just after the German gigs and the band were still really buzzing at the reaction they received from German fans.

Prague seemed to pick up where they left off with a tremendous sense of pride in the new tracks, six of which are presented for your delectation. They convert very well to the stage. We Shall be Free is a revelation. The audience were bobbing to its distinctive rhythm. The opener Crave hits the mark and sets the scene nicely. For me, Oil and Water is coming through as a new live classic, to join faves such as Soul Mover, Don't Let Me Bleed and Steppin' On, as established "must haves."

Of course the Purple songs received great cheers and were delivered with aplomb by our travelling minstrels with JJ and and Luis exchanging some tasty interpretations. Burn, in particular, I haven't seen played with such energy and conviction since those halcyon years.

I will have to go now as my meter is running out here at a internet cafe!
