YEEEESSSS !!!! Well, I would say Milan (Jerome has to plan a business trip there in may ) and Verviers for sure + some of these UK dates. Of course I would have liked a date or two in France but I'm more than happy with these ones.
Thank you David, you made my day

PS: Is the London charity gig confirmed ?

This should give Glenn and band plenty of time to prepare for dates in the USA late Summer after the UK

I think it's just not fair. England should have nothing to look out for this summer since they did not qualify for the European Championship Football. And now they actually *do* have something to look out for... Glenn Hughes!

Great news for the summer a new album being released and tour dates in the UK
Lets hope Glenn gets to play in the north west of England, it`s a long time since he has played in Manchester.

David do we know who is playing in his band for the tour? lets hope Chad is available.

Icon34 Glenn plays UK outdoor show?

According to the Classic Rock magazines web site, Glenn Hughes and Friends? will be playing at the Rock and Blues custom show at Catton Hall Derbyshire on the week end of July 24 - 27.

I had better check that my waterproofs and wellington boots are in good working order.

I wonder who these friends are? any clues David

Quote:
Vocalist/bass guitarist/songwriter Glenn Hughes is a true original. No other rock musician has carved such a distinctive style, blending the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk. That astonishing voice is Hughes' calling card. He's known as a singer's singer. In fact, Stevie Wonder once called Hughes his favourite white singer. The KLF famously dubbed him 'The Voice of Rock' after Glenn provided the incredible vocals for their international mega hit 'What Time is Love', and since then, the name has stuck, and few - if any - would refute it.

Finding enormous international fame with Deep Purple in the 70's, and with a successful and critically acclaimed solo career since the early 90's, Glenn's recent albums have featured his musical brother-in arms Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers on drums. Glenn’s new album ‘FIRST UNDERGROUND NUCLEAR KITCHEN’ - due for release in May 2008 - again features Chad Smith on drums, and was produced by Glenn and engineered by Grammy award winning Jim Scott (Audioslave, Dixie Chicks) and promises to be the finest yet in a long and distinguished career.

When I now Tickets for the concert at Augsburg wanted to buy, the woman said that the concert was cancelled, is this right?

I hope this is not true, because Glenn has been the 2006 concert in Munich canceled, and now 2008 in Augsburg ...

If it is correct, then I will dissociate times by Glenn, because it is already a **** for the fan

Greetings from Munich,
Maxi

No need to worry, the concert is going ahead in Augsburg. The promoter who initially took on the show is no longer involved and so now the venue is taking it on directly. The show WILL NOT be cancelled and all tickets will be valid for the show, which will go ahead on the same date!

Talking about Norway, I just went to the Lillehammer rock week end website to check the program : http://rocklillehammer.com/program.html
If I got it right, they say that Glenn will play between 00h30 & 01h30 AM. Is that correct ?
Can any Norwegian GHCP confirm as I'm far from being fluent...
Many thanks in advance.
