Icon34 Who's got their tickets for Mel Galley?

Got mine a couple of nights ago. Really looking forward to these shows. Lee is an excellent singer so it should be good.

I have a feeling Nathalie and Inma will have theirs before they see Chad and Alan in Norwich.

Although i havent actually collected them for you yet! LOL

I have seen the songs on the rehearsal list and Trapeze fans wont be disappointed.

There was a bit of confusion over tickets last week as Geoff at the Tackeroo thought Mel was selling them on his myspace page. In fact Mel just wanted to announce it first on his page.

You can now get tickets from the Tackeroo no problem - as Andrew has found.

Really wish I could make this show...just not possible for me at all. And Chris, noticed your playlist included "Liquid Tension Experiment"...Outstanding. Hope to be able to catch them this Summer at NEARFest in Bethlehem, PA. And "Starcastle" is also doing a one-off show in March in PA at RoSFest.
Well you people have all the luck on your side o' the pond.
Being Envious,
Frank

Just for info:

you can buy tickets in person at the Tackeroo - Cash only.

To get them by post the best thing is to email Geoff and he will reply with the instructions - basically you need to send a cheque with a SAE enclosed.

Happy New Year, everyone...

I thought I'd bring this thread back to life.

Thing is, I still haven't decided on a hotel for March 27-31 yet, and the big event is less than 3 months away.

So this is sort of a call out to all you GHCP who are coming to the Mel shows - where are you staying?

Cheers,
Christian

Hey Paul, thanks HEAPS for the fantastic information! I will most likely book the Travelodge Hotel too, like some others already did, as I heard on MSN last night!

Will talk to Chris, perhaps we can share a room which would made it a fair bargain, I guess!

Will PM you, Paul, for some other details ....

Thanks so much!
Achim

Would be cool to all meet up before the show for a drink or two. What do you think ?
We will be staying at the Travelodge in Rugeley too.

Have I mentioned that I've booked the flight and 4 nights at the Travelodge in Rugley?
No?
It's official then

The only thing I'm still working on is the connection from Birmingham to Cannock. At the moment it looks like a seven hour stay in Birmingham on Thursday 27th, and I'll probably stick with it and have a nice walk around the city!?
Is that a good idea?
Does anybody know a couple of cool record stores - vinyl, maybe?

Cheers,
Christian
