My god .... time goes by so fast....

Just imagine what kind of music we could have gotten from this great man if he still was amoung us today....

In an hour I'm leaving for a concert and I will put on some Lizzy music in the car to celebrate his life

RIP Phil.

i cant believe its that long. i was lucky enough to see the last lineup with John Sykes on the Thunder and Lightning tour in 1982. my mate even caught one of Scott Gorhams pics when he threw them into the crowd every couple of songs. they did 3 encores that night. The Rocker summed up Phil completely. There is a new dvd out of a show from that tour.

One of the greatest bands that the majority of music fans in the USA only got a glimpse of. Mr Lynott was a true talent that left way before his time.

I to was lucky enough to see the last lineup with John Sykes on the Thunder and Lightning tour in 1982 at Oxford.

No encores though, PL was quite ill at this time was given as a reason.
