Arrow Jimmy Hunter

Jimmy Hunter played drums in Ray Manzarek's post-Doors band NITE CITY. The guy has his own website and it turns out he once worked with Glenn Hughes...from the website I learn it must've been around 1977-78....Anyone????

Glenn Hughes:
Jimmy played drums in a solo effort of Deep Purple / Trapeze bass player / vocalist icon Glenn Hughes. This was an experimental project which recorded tracks for Glenn at Sound City studios with Brett Tuggle (David Lee Roth/Fleetwood Mac) on keys.

Thanks Ad for finding this rare gem of information.

Unfortunately, I don't have anything to add, other than...yet again there is another Glenn connection here, in that Jimmy also worked with Fergie Frederiksen (ex-Toto) in his early days - Fergie of course is a regular member of Voices Of Classic Rock. Hmmm, next time Glenn's on a Chat or something, will have to ask him about this

Hmm. not sure the site means that he worked with Glenn in that period - think that applies to the Paul Warren thing.

Especially if Brett Tuggle was involved I'd guess it was later - I don't think he's been around that long. (I could be wrong.)

Interesting though - thanks Ad!

This project never seemed to come to fruition.....

interestingly enough, he also recorded an album with the Village People...
Could Jimmy be the only man on this planet who worked with the 2 Glenn Hughes's ??????
