Icon47 In The Sky

Well here is the song Achim and myself completed here in the UK .....we started by laying down drum wave files and adding guitar...and that was it...the song started to grow. The partnership was amazing....we just "clicked".

Achim did a fantastic job writing the song and playing the guitar, bass and vocals. My contribution was vocals and drum arrangement.

The song was recorded on the PC in my bedroom......the drums were wavefiles (could'nt fit a drum kit...no room ).

I must say that it was an amazing experience recording with such a talented guy...cheers mate!

nice track, guys!

Totally reminds me of Brian Robertson's (of Thin Lizzy) and Jimmy Bain's Wild Horses or generally early NWOBH - which is a good thing, of course

Icon24 Another Collaboration with Pete

First, thanx for the nice comments for our song! Actually, it has been a work song only, as you surely noticed from the length and the simple arrangement. A couple of months ago Pete and I worked out another song which is called "Got A Feeling" which I wrote on a single saturday afternoon including the lyrics. I started with the main riff and Pete came over with this amazing hookline, the vocal line for the chorus. I still like that track very much and maybe some of you will do as well. Just to give an overview of the main direction I also added 2 more songs which I wrote just by myself. One is called "Ease your Mind" and the other one "Lonely Road". These are demo songs recorded at home on the PC so don´t expect too much.

Happy Birthday Chip, by the way, ol chap!

Have a great weekend everyone and a peaceful one, wherever you live!

Cheers from Germany,

Thumbs up Great Music

Hey Guys,

thats indeed some great music!!!! Obviously here are some really good musicians on that board! Pete and Achims voice fit together really nice, I think. Its a kind of doing that HTP kind of thing. Excellent classic rock music. Achim, I like your firing guitar solos, its like a firework.
Hope theres more coming up!

Greets, Lisa

And its true! I saw you doing a concert in 2000 in Heidelberg near the famous castle with your band at that time. When I visited your website I instantly knew that I have seen and heard you before somewhere. You did that rock classics of DP, GH beside your own stuff back then. Maybe you remember the set as well.

You have the right influences for sure

greetings, Lisa
