Icon47 Brazen Abbot reissues

SPV Records has set an August 22nd, 2005 release date for the reissues of the first three Brazen Abbot albums: Live and Learn (1995), Eye of the Storm (1996) and Bad Religion (1997). The albums have been out of print since USG Records went out of business in 1999. No bonus tracks are planned for these re-releases, but they will feature new cover art.

Brazen Abbot Albums to be rereleased

Glenn is featured on the 95 album Live and Learn....the title track features one of his greatest ever vocal performances. Looking forward to getting these and the new album, have immensely enjoyed Nostradamus and Guilty As Sin.

In addition, George Lynch's "Sacred Groove" is slated to be reissued on Aug. 2 through Wounded Bird Records. For those that don't know, the cd was originally released in 1993 and features Glenn on two good tracks, "Not Necessary Evil" and "Cry of the Brave". The late, great Ray Gillen also sings a tune on it. There are a couple good instrumentals, too.

Jon, thanks for the info on the George Lynch album. I didn't know that. Good reason to go on the look out of this album.

Im glad the re-issue albums of Brazen Abbot don't have bonus tracks. I get frustrated by buying all those albums again and again for just one or two interesting new tracks.
