Icon33 Trapeze - Corpus Christi 1981 video

Its doesnt feature Glenn BUT......

I have just "aquired" some TV footage (15 minutes long) by a station called KRIS-TV in Corpus Christi, Texas. it's from 1981 and is a mixture of interviews with the all the band and live footage. the voiceover/reporter is "Bobby Rayus" (that how it sounds). its decent quality for its age. once i have edited (its over 1gb) and converted it i will try and get it up on youtube and on Mel's page.

does anyone have this or know any more details about the footage etc?

The road never ends...

I think it was "Number 1 Son" who joked that his father referred to this tour as the "Wing And A Prayer" Tour. Apparently the scheduling was done on a shoestring.....

Texas was always great for the guys....this was a few years before I moved there. I will have to check out the video when it is put up..sounds like a great late night plan at work!!

Hmm..what other treasures might turn up??

Great work Paul..we can't thank you enough!

Please made it ...

I highly hope to see this video. There's until now no one video available from the the 70' or 80'. And it's an enormous injustice.

Hey Paul,
When did you become a badger?
Isn't that something like a groundhog?

You certainly have my permission to beat anybody with a stick,
who doesn't comply with GHCP orders, whenever necessary.
Just try not to leave any evidence for the cops to find, OK?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You know, Paul, I really wish that I could be advising you,
OOPS, OK....nagging you....to file updated reports on the assorted
Galley family garages, attics, basements, and back yard tool sheds.
I wish that the only thing that "assorted Galleys" had to worry about
was my ax, and searching through cardboard boxes to find lots of
formerly-forgotten good stuff for the fans to enjoy.
Every day ~ each morning ~ I say a prayer.........
Please keep forwarding our love ~
Wink Hey lady...who you calling a groundhog?
Badger..now that is too funny. I watch a lot of You Tube at work and they have cool animal videos....there was one on the honey badger where our furry friend quickly dispatches a cobra with the ease that I would reach into the fridge for a beer. The badger is one bad mofo!!
All joking aside, I think about Mel every day and am just glad that he is surrounded by family and friends......
Hmmm.....perhaps a good choice as a mascot for the "A.M." division of the GHCPs?
Tom is the slowest man in music! - apart from Pat Thrall of course
Tom has a new album that is being mixed at the moment.
He has also been working with Lee Small over the last few weeks for something else.
i tell Tony Perry every time i see him that the Hot Wire masters and demos need to be issued properly in digital format.
I hope to meet Nettie G next week so will see what the latest news is
Currently listening to Karmine - Perpetual Sin
