Thanks, David for the link.
See good old UK iTunes wants £7.99 almost 50% more than you guys in the States can get it for!!
Just a comment rather than putting me off buying it!

Retailers are always going to add their 2 cents - well, in this case a lot more

Not sure of the exact pricing that you'll find it on his website, but it should be equivalent no matter what country you purchase from, although I'm sure shipping & handling will vary - that's what makes iTunes useful, for those who aren't fussed with jewel cases and sleeves!

i'll wait for the cd. a bit longer makes no odds now.

by the way Ben, in an interview in Classic Rock, Cheap Trick are
taking legal action as at the moment they get just 4 and a half cents for every 99 cents that Itunes charges per song. and there have been over 400,000 downloads of their songs so far!

That's because their record label, Sony Music, is taking the other 95 cents - they're the ones getting sued, not Apple. The Allman Brothers are also doing the same thing!

Hi Wolfy
Yeah, I'm with you on on waiting for the CD then, especially if The Change is going to be on it (Thanks for the confirmation, David)

Cheers

You have something else to look forward to then wolfysmith, but the next best thing is now finally available

JJ's solo album - Music From Planet Marsh - is now available for ordering on CD from his website and very soon from right here too - you can order either a signed copy or non-signed - think I know which one I'll be getting

http://www.jj-marsh.com/cd.htm

So go for it - order as many as you like

Planet Marsh, spinning now on the Dave Ling playlist

Music From Planet Marsh features in Dave Ling's October playlist - see www.daveling.co.uk

Dave picks his favourite albums from the new releases and promo copies of recent weeks, and these play in constant rotation on the Mighty Wurlingzter. His Listening Room reverberates with joy when Crystal Palace win, and provides solace when Palace only manage a draw. Nothing helps when they lose, of course, but a few verses of Into The Light eases the pain a bit

I guess I waited too long and now can't find the CD anywhere. I hate mp3's and would rather have the full CD. Any info on where I could get this? Should have jumped on it when this thread was going. I just don't expect CD's to vanish after they've only been out 2 years.

That CD blew me away and frustrated me to death at the same time. Blew me away because the songs were...just fantastic! Killer playing, killer hooks, blown away at the vocals...except...unfortunately, I am a bit hard of hearing anyway and the vocals are (to me) behind the mix just a tad too much. I think JJ is my favorite guitarist of mine that I've heard in the last many years and it was a pure pleasure to hear that he has a killer voice on top of it! I am stunned at the work he's done with Glenn on his discography, not just the solos but the fills and little nuances and effects, great feeling in all his playing. The passion in his solo in Written All Over Your Face in Soulfully Live makes for one of my favorite all time solos (and in SITKOR)....and everything else he does exudes quality....Nice guy, too. I'm waiting for the next CD and hoping I can hear the vocals better, turn them up!! JJ Marsh is f*&^%%&* GREAT!

the link on www.jj-marsh.com to cargo records doesnt work properly and scanning their site directly www.cargorecords.co.uk i couldnt find it.

your best bet would be to fly out to Sweden today as Planet Marsh are playing shows in Stockhom on 20th and 21st March

Or maybe just send a PM to jjweb. Kate runs JJs website (among many others) and should be able to sort you out
