I have the latest Deep Purple compilation album and I especially love the songs "Burn", " Stormbringer" and "Soldier Of Fortune". The lyrics are interesting and the music are funky and melodic.

Definitely get the remastered version of Burn, the remastering job is excellent and you're probably missing out on some great songs!

Ayesha, look out for the remastered Stormbringer too in 2006 hopefully. And also of course California Jam in December. Great stuff!

Thumbs up Jamming at work!!

Hey Larry,

I have to move soon..and I used to live in Texas!! I wanna work where you work!! Sounds like you are kicking out the jams!! And a belated Happy Birthday to you...all knobs to the right!!

I live in the Shenandoah Valley and am surrounded by rednecks....There's a club near here and if I go there I am the only one not wearing a hat, smoking a cigarette or wearing a t-shirt along the lines of "Born To Raise Hell!!"

Icon42 Live in Germany 1975

This is not the best quality at all, looks like it's been through a few generations, but due to it's rarity, thought I'd share it - features the band in Germany in 1975 performing Stormbringer. Can't be sure if the audio has been dubbed or not, but does looks like it. This clip is also in black & white

Enjoy
