Session Man CDs

I have volumes 1 to 12 of these collections and just quietly I've heard that there will be another 2 available very soon. Anyway I was wondering if there was interested in me setting up a download service so that anyone who doesn't have these can download them for free of coarse. I have 500GB of free space on a server so i'll have to rotate the files but i'll keep people post as to what's there and when.

There's been lots of talk about these CDs on this site and i just thought it's about time all that Glenn's fans had these.

I was just thinking about the Session Man series the other day, wondering if there was enough new stuff to put out more volumes. Glad to hear there are two new ones coming out.

i've been working on this and asked Chip and Woody to be my testers in downloading files from "the cloud"

a quick question for those interested in downloading the mp3 files for these cds:

if each cd was available as a largish zip file of all the mp3 files for you to download would you know how to unzip it into a folder on your pc before then loading to itunes and/or burning them to make an audio cd.
Or would you prefer to download single mp3 files for each track?

the way ive tested this out is as both single individual tracks to download one by one and as one big zip file per cd which is obviously simpler. however, making them available as separate files for each track means you can listen to them online before downloading and hence you may decide not to have certain ones - although then you wont have the full collection and the cover art wont match the cd. And you wont be a fully fledged GHCP!

download speeds are so fast these days a 100mb zip file is done in minutes and im guessing you all know what a zip file is?

Due to a combination of holidays, Olympics, more holidays, work pressures, Mac issues and Megacloud changes this project got rather delayed from my and Woody's original plans.

However, Session Man Volumes 1 & 2 should be available to download from tomorrow.

Ok, the Session Man stuff is now available to download starting with Volumes 1 & 2.

To stop freeloading lurkers and newbies who just post "i agree" 10 times the music zip files are password protected so you'll need to pm myself or Woody for it. It also means we know just how many people are interested and want to hear Glenn's prolific "extra" work as otherwise anyone could download it and we don't get a count of who and when. I'm guessing most regulars have already got the early volumes and are waiting for the later ones so it will be interesting to see.

However, I haven't protected the cd artwork so you can see what's on each one up to and including Volumes 13 & 14 right now. They will all be made available over the next few weeks a bit at a time.

To download the artwork click the following link and follow the instructions below. CLICK HERE for Artwork

DO NOT click on any of the pdf files listed in the folder that appears. Just move your mouse over the name of the pdf file and it will change from black to blue. Then move your mouse over the little download icon that will appear on the right hand side - "download" appears when you hover over the correct one. Now left click the download icon and away you go. It should open up the Save As window on your pc.

Now do the same thing for the zip files containing the music using this link CLICK HERE for Vols 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8
