Arrow Bonamassa with Purple bassplayer

Ha, ha
Did you expect that? It seems that Joe plays on a Roger Glover solo album that is still in the can

I think RG's website says this picture is from later in 2009.

of course, he's already appeared on a Deep Purple singer's solo album - JLT's JLT from 2003.

I saw Joe at the House of Blues...here in LA and I'm racking my brains trying to think of who he was opening up for. I remember his guitar sound was amazing....and right up my alley, but I had only vaguely heard of him. I thought it was Deep Purple in 98...which also had Ohm there as well. But reading the reviews of that night, there's no mention of Joe and there would have been if he was there! Maybe it was with Dokken in Feb 2002. I haven't been to that venue much and try to avoid it, so there's really not much more possibilities than opening up for Dokken or maybe some other night. I was not surprised at all when he hooked up with Glenn, because I remember he was awesome that night.

Dokken w/ Bonamassa would be a bizarre pairing

John, I was at that Deep Purple show for which Ohm was the opening act. Imagine my surprise when I realized that unassuming gentleman in the beanie and glasses, shredding all those great fusion tunes, was Chris Poland, original guitarist of Megadeth. That guy is amazing.

Going back to Bonamassa, out of selfish curiosity I'd love to hear Glenn and Joe record a version of Gary Moore's "Empty Rooms", since no tapes are known to exist of the demo Glenn recorded with Gary years ago
