Sad/UnHappy RIP Marcel Jacob from Talisman

Read on JSS's blog today that Marcel committed suicide today. Just terrible. I'm only familar with a few Talisman songs (thanks to Todd) and I have the excellent Talisman 7. I also remember when Marcel was Yngwie's bassist so I've been aware of him since 85 (Marching Out's a great album) . Terrible news!

John

Quoted from Marcel's website:

a common signed way that Marcel used to made in a blog thing entry with "(Listening to Glenn Hughes + Tommy Iommy's) Fused ... damn it's good!)" ... but shamely since now ... he will be unable to saw the whole work that we were doing ...

A tragic loss for Marcel's friends, family and fans. The man was an inspired, and inspiring, person. I've never heard anyone play bass like that. He leaves behind a jaw-dropping catalog of music.

Thanks Glenn for remembering Marcel. He was truly remarkable

It's worth mentioning Marcel was a really good guitarist as well. He played the guitar and bass on the Human Clay recordings, and not only wrote the songs but played all the rhythm guitars and bass on the last Talisman album.

Cheers...Todd
