Icon49 In the Studio this week

Here are GLENN, Jerry Cantrell and Chad Smith - who were in the Studio earlier this week recording a track that is going to be a demo for a movie for Sony Pictures. Will keep you updated.

Thumbs up

Looking forward to hearing this. Read that it's a Zeppelin cover. I could easily imagine Glenn doing Communication Breakdown or something similar from 1 or 2.

Icon37 Mysterious famous guitar player...

...is Jerry Cantrell that mysterious "famous guitar player" Glenn referred a couple of times in last year's interviews? The one guitar player that is probably going on tour with Glenn and Chad?

Still curious...as always!

T

btw. what song did they cover?

old topic

Ok, sorry to dredge up an old topic, but is there any information on where they might be using "misty mountain hop" in the future?

Just wondering...

Hello Theresa,

I do remember Chad posting that the song didn't make the movie because the film makers didn't get the necessary clearances in time from the composers to use the song.....

But I would hope that it does get released somehow.....perhaps as one of the bonus cuts on the forthcoming Aussie release of Soul Mover?? Hmm..that would be cool!!And thanks again for your work on the avatars..they are chrome plated cool!!

ok

Hi,

Yeah I remember him saying that sometime ago, was just wondering if there was anything new. Being a fan of Jerry's, as well as Glenn and Chad, I just want to hear the song.

And you are welcome for the avatar
