Thumbs up BCC: the album: different versions to come!

On the site of the record company Mascot Records there is an announcement that there will be three different versions of Black Country Communion-Black Country:

A CD version, A special edition CD with DVD and for the collectors there is also a vinyl edition! I like it a lot that there will be also an vinyl edition: the great artwork will look better on that lp format

Hope all this applies to non-Euro releases, I'm sure it will, but definitely hoping so! Guess we have to wait for J&R to get us the details for the other non-Euro release(s)...

No idea at the moment, but I would imagine it's the Riverside show, the interviews that are up on their site, plus some backstage footage, perhaps.

Awaiting patiently just like you

I had a quick look on the site of J & R Adventures: the bring a lot of vinyl albums out (old classic albums, but also Joe Bonamassa stuff). I think they will bring the Black Country Communion album also in USA as a vinyl edition. I hope they bring for you guys in USA also the special edition cd, with dvd. J & R look very solid to me, so I think the special edition will come out for sure

J&R is indeed a solid organization. It can only spell good things for Glenn and this band. They have basically got Joe to where he is in his career with little to no help from any major label.
Of course it wouldn't matter if he was no good, but we know that talent alone isn't enough in this business. It's marketing, promotion, quality products etc.

I met Roy Weisman the R of J&R and he absolutely lit up when I mentioned BCC. He couldn't hide the excitement. It was the same with Joe. He said something to the effect that it F'n Kills!

Yeah, they now have the USA release (J&R Adventures) in their catalog, thus the price drop - previously it was just the import. So sounds like you'll end up with both the US and Euro editions assuming you didn't cancel your first order. The USA edition will be available Sept. 21st from Amazon but the import is around the 28th from them.

BCC: the album: different versions to come!

David, here's part of the email Amazon sent me this morning....

"Hello from Amazon.com.

I apologize for any inconvenience this causes, but at this time this item B003VY8PZ4 is unavailable to us and we're not sure if we'll be able to obtain it in the future.

Unfortunately, our supply of some items is limited and these products sell out quickly. I'm sorry that we had to cancel your order and for the disappointment this has caused."

I also ordered the Play Me Out re-issue the same time I ordered the BCC import 'limited edition'.....my original order only shows the Play Me Out re-issue....so hopefully I'll only wind up with the 'domestic limited edition'.....

Yeah it looks like Amazon (USA) have changed what they are making available, as of today, all they have is the US domestic CD/DVD (J&R Adventures) release. They appear to have dropped all previous items. From past experience, they tend to do this until the final release date. It's frustrating, but not a lot you can do!

Anyway, it looks like they cancelled that part of your order... so you should end up with the US domestic CD/DVD combo release - so you're still good to go!

Received an email from AmazonUK saying that the vinyl edition is delayed. Something about their supplier not being able to come through. My expected arrival date is between October 5-11.

Oh well...at least I have the CD/DVD coming to me next week
