Great, been looking forward to this one after those exciting clips of awhile back so I will get it soon. I may pop over for some shows, depends on band schedules...already looks like Shepard's Bush is on when I have to be here, we'll see. I also need to be at my day job on Monday's as that is our busiest day and I've not been there long enough to pull any vacations on that day.

This CD better be good!!!! I'm having a helluva time ordering it

Finally, the US link actually took me somewhere, but this is what I found there.

Like I said....I'll keep trying

Hi Chip - I think the message about mixing the currencies is cos you had previously clicked on the UK link to see if it was working, and it was registering that you'd already started a purchase in GBP. You have to remove the items from your shopping-cart, and then close the window, and then start again.

And yes, it IS worth it!

Woo-hoo!! The US link finally worked for me.

JJ Web, thanks for the additional info. I was only kidding with the...."it better be good..." comment. I know it's going to be a fantastic CD, that's why I have three copies coming

Hey Dave- might just wait to purchase it through your site- (If it doesn't take too long!)
Do you know if the autographed copies are going to be available too? No big deal.. I'd rather get the chance to have him sign it personally some day!

Yes, they're supposed to be the autographed ones - just waiting on delivery

Will let you know when they're ready.

Thanks again, Kate!

Read on, if you're interested in the small print, but beware, it's very Off Topic!
... and coincedentially, today I also received another album that has its origins in Scandinavia called "Akasha" by the Norwegian band of the same name, originally released on a private label in 1977 and reissued on CD by Ad Perpetuum Memoriam Records from - yeah, you guessed right - Sweden (that's one ______ of a name for a label, huh) in the Nineties.
Quite experimental with lots of Mellotron

Planet Marsh, spinning now on the Dave Ling playlist

Music From Planet Marsh features in Dave Ling's October playlist - see www.daveling.co.uk

Dave picks his favourite albums from the new releases and promo copies of recent weeks, and these play in constant rotation on the Mighty Wurlingzter. His Listening Room reverberates with joy when Crystal Palace win, and provides solace when Palace only manage a draw. Nothing helps when they lose, of course, but a few verses of Into The Light eases the pain a bit

I guess I waited too long and now can't find the CD anywhere. I hate mp3's and would rather have the full CD. Any info on where I could get this? Should have jumped on it when this thread was going. I just don't expect CD's to vanish after they've only been out 2 years.

That CD blew me away and frustrated me to death at the same time. Blew me away because the songs were...just fantastic! Killer playing, killer hooks, blown away at the vocals...except...unfortunately, I am a bit hard of hearing anyway and the vocals are (to me) behind the mix just a tad too much. I think JJ is my favorite guitarist of mine that I've heard in the last many years and it was a pure pleasure to hear that he has a killer voice on top of it! I am stunned at the work he's done with Glenn on his discography, not just the solos but the fills and little nuances and effects, great feeling in all his playing. The passion in his solo in Written All Over Your Face in Soulfully Live makes for one of my favorite all time solos (and in SITKOR)....and everything else he does exudes quality....Nice guy, too. I'm waiting for the next CD and hoping I can hear the vocals better, turn them up!! JJ Marsh is f*&^%%&* GREAT!

the link on www.jj-marsh.com to cargo records doesnt work properly and scanning their site directly www.cargorecords.co.uk i couldnt find it.

your best bet would be to fly out to Sweden today as Planet Marsh are playing shows in Stockhom on 20th and 21st March

Or maybe just send a PM to jjweb. Kate runs JJs website (among many others) and should be able to sort you out

Collectors Items

Also, I forgot to mention, the Planet Marsh CDs were always gonna be a Limited Edition Collectors' Item, due to the rarity of the items used in the top-secret experimental manufacturing process.

Here's what happened.... (this was written back in 2005, but is still true today).

Thanks for filling us in. In this day and age when I can get most albums released in August, 2006 - I'm just completely mystyfied and very disappointed at why JJ would just do this, but ah well...guess I'm headed to Itunes
