Icon34 BCC UK Tour 2011

www.ents24.com/web/news/Black_Country_Communion_hit_the_UK_00176544.html

Quote:
Black Country Communion, the world-renowned Anglo-American rock supergroup featuring vocalist and bassist, Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Trapeze, Black Sabbath), blues rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa, drummer Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin, Foreigner) and keyboard player Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater), have announced four UK dates in support of their latest album.

Releasing their self-titled debut album in September 2010 to much critical acclaim, the band are currently recording their second studio album with producer Kevin Shirley, which is penned for a June 2011 release.

Black Country Communion kick off their summer tour on July 26th in Leeds, then head to Newcastle and Glasgow before rounding things off in Manchester on July 30th.

Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday 4th Feb - but as a member of Ents24, you'll be able to get your hands on tickets from Thursday 3rd Feb!

Unfortunately, I'm on holiday for that whole week ! Including the High Voltage festival. I wonder whether there will be any Midlands or other London shows announced?

I'm looking at flying out to Hamburg. Got some family and friends there and get a chance to hear the new set list before they hit the UK! Maybe every cloud does have a silver lining

Great news. That'll save me a trip to London. Just one minor correction to your message on the Homepage, David. Glasgow is not a town in the 'North of England'. We can be a bit sensitive about things like that up here

Going to buy 2 tickets for Leeds

40 quid you could argue is a bit steep but not complaining!

BUT, having to pay 12.25 extra for so called service and delivery fee!! The tickets are being delivered electronically for gods sake, so where does that 2.25 come from?

And what 'services' justifies 10!?

The "MSG" line-up is :-

Michael Schenker: MSG, ex Scorpions/UFO - Lead Guitar
Hermann Rarebell: ex Scorpions - Drums
Pete Way: ex UFO - Bass
Michael Voss: Vocals
Elliott (Owner of Dean Guitar) Rubinson: Bass
Wayne Findlay: MSG - Keyboards/Guitars

... although I don't think they are billing themselves as MSG. On Michael's site the line-up for the BCC tour is referred to as "Michael Schenker".

Very interesting line up... Don't usually bother with support, but Glenn's done well this year. Joanne Shaw Taylor and MSG

While I'm going to the Glasgow show I know many people who are refusing to pay 50 for the ticket, fees and delivery in order to go for the Academy. Does anyone else know how well these dates are actually selling?
