Hi Milena - it seems you figured out how to post a reply to threads, but if mean a "new" thread....at the top of each forum listing, on the top left-side, you'll see a button labeled, "New Thread" - click that, and you can start a new one.

As for Java, it can be downloaded from Sun's site at:

http://www.java.com/en/download/

We might be switching to a "Flash" enabled CHAT software soon, although we haven't finally decided on that yet, but should we do so, you'll also need Adobe's Flash - that can be had from here:

http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer

I downloaded the program by the link you gave me, it works fine! But now I have another problem, my username and password arent working, I get login on the GHPG.net, but not on the chat. Can you tell me why? I thank you so much, forgive me if Im "peaceing" you off hehehe!!!!! Thanx!!!!!!!!

The current CHAT program requires a different username and password than the Fan Forum. Just click the link on the CHAT page to request one or you can simply use it while visiting as a 'Guest' (with no password needed).

hey david ( and everyone else) i was wondering why we don't just turn this thread into a "how" in general. we have a "why" thread, so i was thinking why not have a "how"...... and in the spirit of how, i was wondering, 'cause i think that i must be a little stupid about this, how actually, do you quote someone from one of their post ? i see the quote button on the bottom, but does this copy their whole post, or can you just quote part of the post.

Thanks for the feedback, will certainly take it into consideration.

Yes....by default, the "Quote" button will indeed include all of the message that you've selected, but as you will see, you'll have the opportunity to edit it however you like, for when it's posted into the message you are responding to.

Also, there is an FAQ section that you can peruse first, for any usage questions you may have You'll find it's link at the top of each page in the Fan Forum.
