Tickets for the public show at BB King's in New York City on Monday, September 3rd, 2007 are now available for purchase thru Ticketmaster.

Quote:
We're anticipating the big night at B.B. KING'S which is going to be a star studded event with lots of special guests, including the horn section from the Letterman show who will be joining us after their taping of the show. Tickets are still available to the general public - come share the thrill and excitement of the final nights performance!

Also of note for all Floridians Next year Rock 'n Roll Fantasy Camp will be going to Orlando - June 5th-8th, 2008. They're teaming up with the Hard Rock Hotel and Universal Studios.

We'll keep our fingers crossed that GLENN is included in that line-up too

I heard of this event for several years now but don't know exactly what this event is?
With such a line up probably several thousand people will show up right?! ..or is it for a limited amount of people? So what happens next? The attendees have a chance to play onstage with the artists or are the artists doing clinics?

Im quite curious because next year my vacation with the family is ... Orlando

This cool event would be a very pleasant addition to the vacation. Especially when Glenn is on the bill

The R'n'R Fantasy Camp website explains in depth what they're all about - but it ain't cheap US$8,999 - for that you get:

- Attendence/accomodation for 5 days & nights
- 10+ hours of daily jamming & instruction
- 13 meals with campers and celebrity musicians
- DVD of the final night's performance
- CD of your band's studio recording, welcome bag & transportation to & from camp events
- "Battle of the Band's" live at selected venue

So yes, private instruction with celebrity musicians and a final night live performance. The New York City venue this year is BB King's and the gig is also open to the public, with tickets available for purchase here. GLENN amongst others, will be in attendence.

Thanks for the info David. That's a costly experience indeed. For that kind of money I rather go hunting with Ted Nugent instead...

Sheesh...I could spend $89,990 and still not be able to play a note

I am sure this draws much the same crowd as we used to get for Baseball Fantasy Camps in Clearwater every year. For about 6 grand you got to pull more muscles in a week than in your entire lifetime, but heck, you learned from some "Stars" and Coaches and got your very own DVD or VHS of your biggest waste of money ever. One year we had a guy who didn't slide; he did not want to get his uni dirty or "ruin his manicure" I always enjoyed doing these because the pay was great and it was a great warm up before Spring Training started in earnest. Heck, I looked like a superstar hitting off of some of these prima donnas
