Icon33 Oklahoma City 1971

The Peoples Workshop, Oklahoma City - October 21st-22nd, 1971

The backup band for this show was Peach from Chicago. The Peoples Workshop was one of the first small concert halls in the Oklahoma City area at the time.

Well, we scour the globe for anything Glenn But mainly through friends who keep an eyeout for us...of course, there's eBay and other auction sites too, but mainly close out sales, memorabilia & music shops...you'll be amazed what you come across...there's a Final Swing album cover posted in this forum which we found in Austin, Texas for $10...signed by both Glenn and John Lodge!!

You never know when you'll find something cool like that. I was browsing in an antique shop in Mesa, Arizona and came across a vinyl copy of Four on The Floor with Glenn. Later the same year I think, I was in a little Mom and Pop used record store in Phoenix and found 3 more Four on The Floor albums for about $3 each. I have since then had them all autographed by Glenn.

Thumbs up

What a nice PEACE of art work from OKC. I had trouble finding anything here, someone who ran the old coast to coast helped me get two copies of PMO imported by a friend of his on the east coast. I have never even seen a four on the floor album at all, what some finds. Oklahoma tries to rock, great to see there is another fan like I around close somewhere!
I used to play guitar here in a 3 piece group named rage. We did a lot ofTrapeze and Purple. Pretty tough to find someone to even try to sing the stuff! Ever been to the club that was called(losing my memory was called crackers then changed the name to ???) here? That would have been early 80's. WE one two battle of the bands there....
This site kicks buttttt. Nice to find fellow Glenn freaks

Welcome aboard, mate. This will be a quite familiar place for you to visit very soon....
If you have any questions about the website, where to find something ect., feel free to ask. Dave & Shirean, or anyone of us, will be glad to help you, Rick.

Let the fire rage...,

Icon49 Oklahoma's Got A Family Tree Now......

............and you'll probably notice, rickyl
as you spend several years trying to catch up,
by reading all the back pages here
that if there's something special that you're looking for,
and can't find in OK, we'll try to help you find it.

Looking for a copy of Glenn Hughes' insert item name here
can become a full time hobby.

And welcome to the gang 'O......"Glenn Hughes Crazy People!"

Grace
