Not part of the album....an error I assume, because of the early listing - it'll no doubt get corrected nearer the actual release date.

OK. When can I order the album? It's a month away

Maybe I am out of the loop, but the album is coming, and I've seen no official release date in the states, or anywhere I can order it.

What is going on right now?

Once again, maybe I am misinformed, but with the album a month away, I am concerned.

This album, from the samples I have heard, is a classic. it is so good, that I have only played the samples a couple of times, but still hear the music in my head. That is when you know the music is awesome.

I have purposely not listened to them since because I don't want to ruin the album for me.

But damn, even if I wasn't a GH fan, I would be wanting this album, even without hearing the samples.

What the hell is going on?

The album is out in Europe on May 9th and May 11th elsewhere around the world. You can pre-order it at the outlets linked above and I'm sure more will be added to the list as the release date approaches.

Once it does arrive, it'll obviously then be easy to track it down, should you rather purchase it from elsewhere

My bad David. For some reason, I overlooked the first post. I was under the impression that the USA was missing out on pre ordering.

I just wish this was better organized. The album is going to be released in a month, and it's a damn shame because people who might want it or be interested, won't know where to get it, unless they are paying close attention online.

Unless they plan for a bigger push after the album is released and they get a certain response.

People have short memories and the budget isn't unlimited

So once it's actually out, I'm sure you'll see a major push, rather than now, which is more about gettin' a buzz goin'

...which seems to be working

Well, I really hope that is the case, because the samples I have have heard are realllllll good, and I am a music snob. I am very picky, even with Glenn.

This is the album, of all Glenn albums I have heard so far, that if it gets noticed by people, it will be big. If it has some strong promotion, it will do very well.

If people hear it, they will like it, buy it, and listen to it.

I always want Glenn to push his success higher, and I have heard him say the whole "this is GH's best album. if you are starting with one, buy this one." But, for the first time, I really feel that those words are correct.

Pre-ordered mine through a local cd shop. Just got Trapeze, "live at the boat club" this past week. Four weeks to go. Anticipation!

NEH rules!!

Well...with Slipped Disc about to put out the lights and close the door forever, I will need a new source for hard to find CD's.

But fear not!

David pointed the way to NEH Records several years ago and I will give them their due props again...great selection service and prices....

And I will say again...if you have an independent music store near you, give them your support. They are truly a dying breed!

Why is it that the whole world seems to have a problem with Glenn (metaphorically speaking) ... 'Glenn Hughes' is a simple enough name to say and spell ... 'Music for the Divine' could never be for the 'divide' ... etc, etc.

As long as the world remembers that the new album's called FUNK not F*CK, that it stands for First Underground Nuclear Kitchen and not First Underneath Nuclear Klaxon, then we'll all breathe a sigh of relief.

One thing that the press, etc. could never get wrong - his voice!!!

I hope that HMV give me the correct CD with the sleeve, and not Glenn Miller () or Glen Campbell.

Which reminds me - why does George Bush always say 'nucular' instead of 'nuclear' ???

Can't WAIT to FUNK out!!!

Wow. It's $32 on Amazon. That's interesting. That might turn a lot of people away. Amazon would also be the preferred choice for most people.

Yeah, that happens quite frequently at Amazon - come release day or in fact, a day or two before - you'll find the price comes down to a normal level. I think they do that for the profit margins, trying to catch those who just must have it on pre-order!

NEH is your best bet; half the price, plus it'll ship the same day as the Euro release date!
