He selected songs by Bob Seger, Mountain, Humble Pie, Free, The Beatles, ZZ Top, Allman Brothers Band,
Jeff Buckley and one of his very own favourites from Trapeze

Thumbs up

... a great selection... Thanks so much!

Glenn paying tribute to Jeff Buckley, that's very very special.
I will never forget the first time I heard Grace - actually I saw the video to it on MTV. In that bit just before the end when Buckley screams his heart out tears shot in my eyes, I was overwhelmed by its greatness.

That whole album for me is is still one of the best musical efforts, ever.

And what a coincidence..... earlier this month I was the guest DJ at the Musikkiosk here in Vienna, and I played Hot 'n Nasty and Thirty Days In The Hole from the fantastic Humble Pie Smokin' album! Will soon have to replace my copy since the vinyl is already pretty worn...
Only last saturday night I hung out at the Purple Haze club, a monthly Sixties/Seventies event, and guess which song came on.... yes: Hot n' Nasty. The DJ had a copy of the 7'' single (with picture sleeve for those who care to know ).

On both occasions I watched the people as Steve Marriott was singing these unbelievably high notes. Everybody was listening in awe.

Just two little stories I wanted to share...

P.S. Closing with Medusa is also very cool...
