Any idea, David, if Glenn will be doing a press tour this time?

Good to hear it's not in that particular article. Anyways, yes, to your question... at end of next month or early April. UK for sure, unknown if elsewhere.

Looking forward to them immensely. I arrived too late to catch BCC but at least I'm going to be on board this time.

A great logo - will look good on t-shirts and merchandise!

I think an "unknown" in Watt is better than a "big name" as there is no baggage and no expectation from a live audience of the guitarists back-catalogue. there may well be a few of Glenn's past glories in a live show but it would be difficult to pull off Burn or whatever with a 3 piece. In fact being a 3 piece could help Glenn in that respect as people (hopefully) wont be expecting it.

Mel Galley told me that playing in the 3 piece Trapeze was extremely hard but rewarding and fun. Not only did all three of you have to be spot on with your playing and timing but you also all had to trust the other members of the band that they could and would be able to perform all night, every night. As we know, Glenn feeds off other musicians when playing live and with JB and A50W he's got some really energetic players to work with.

I am REALLY looking forward to this.

The short soundclip that I listened on Youtube sounds like heavy funky Zepp: like the Ocean of Houses of the Holy. It has a lot of power due to the drumsound of Bonzo jr.. I must say, that I'm looking forward to hear the whole album. It's impressive that Glenn, after his huge career comes up witn a new funking and rocking band, with a big groovin' sound. Glenn and Bonzo junior: a good combination. The kid sounds also very promising. And Julian Lennon is a nice bonus!

It is a Trio and that is a round thing.
A Trio has got it's own magic.
I love it, it is about: Keep it simple and focuss the energies to set the stage on fire.
And these three guys look very natural to me.

Thanks for the update, David. I would have been disappointed if Glenn didn't stop in the country where his better half was born and where he still has so many loyal fans.

Its the April 2014 issue with Queen on the front.

There is a big feature on "The must hear albums of 2014".

Slash gets 3 pages - no surprise there - and Cal Breed get a page plus pics.
Rival Sons (excellent band i've seen twice) and Joey Bananas also get a full page each.

For some reason i cant see the add attachments option

Another feature story on Joey B? He and Led Zep must be backing that magazine financially somehow

But on the subject of CB, I'm curious if management has considered putting them on a co-headlining tour with the Winery Dogs? Or maybe CB/WD/Rival Sons? That would be quite a bill, and introducing CB to a younger audience as well through RS.

...correct, it's not just you, but everyone... it's for this 'News & Updates' category and also, 'Tour Dates & Appearances'. Although, you should now be able to add attachments in both! You and everyone can post away, in every other category!

This is to help avoid unconfirmed news or tour dates/appearances being posted and for no other reason

In the main Dutch hardrock magazine Aardschok (= Earthquake) the wrote something about Glenn and his new band. They named it BCC 2.0

What a silly conclusion from Aardschok magazine, because we, the fans know and hope it will be something different. A band and brand on it's own: California Breed. Hope it's gonna be a huge succes

Icon37 STP it was...

Glenn tweeted this review...
http://rockguitardaily.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/california-breed-well-worth-wait-this.html so it was STP he was supposed to join...that's why the silence...? What went wrong?

...that's a touring band, right? David? What about California Breed - is it going to tour? Certainly not in as big venues as STP, right?

Just...wow.

Just watched the video for 'Sweet Tea'. It explodes out of the screen and speakers at you. It's modern, retro, all at once... it's rock n roll! Love the immediacy of this. Watt's guitar is fearless. His answering licks to Glenn's vocals are great, and the riff is just buzz-saw dangerous. Bonham' s engine room is relentless. I love this. The Daddy is back to show them all how it's done!
