Arrow Until Tomorrow

Only yesterday when I was browsing through the CD shelf in search for the lost chord.... no seriously, simply for something to listen to, I stumbled over the Wizard's Convention album again, one I haven't listened to in at least two years, maybe longer.

And when I thought Glenn's wonderful contribution (the major one, the other being joint lead vocal with Eddie Hardin on "Light Of My Life") to this album must have been posted here long ago, it actually hasn't.

So here's, in edited form so that you don't have to listen to all the instrumental parts "Until Tomorrow" (Part 3).
A wonderful little piece of music.
Personnel:
Vocals: Glen Hughes (sic!)
Guitar: Ray Fenwick
Bass: Mo Foster
Electric & Grand Piano: Eddie Hardin
Drums & Percussion: Marc Nauseef

Eddie Hardin writes in the sleeve notes, that "Glenn was great, he came to the studio, had a bottle of whiskey and some fish'n'chips and then laid down his vocal."

I like this album. It's a nice collection of great songs with excellent contributions throughout.

More comments here on the board.

Enjoy.

Christian

I just listened to my Butterfly Ball/Wizard's Convention CD a couple weeks ago, after buying the Butterfly Ball DVD. It's not a bad piece of music at all. The Coverdale tune is really good, too.

Hi Chris,

Until Tomorrow is one of the most groovy, laid back songs Glenn did in the seventies in my book.

cheers,

Hi Fedor,

yes definitely! It is one of my alltime favourite soulful GH tracks too - yet unfortunately it is so well hidden on this album!!?
Every time I dig it out, I listen to this one bit over and over again!

Cheers,
Christian
