Icon33 GLENN HUGHES Performs CLASSIC DEEP PURPLE LIVE in USA 2018

GLENN HUGHES, former bassist and singer of Deep Purple, known to millions as the 'Voice of Rock', Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and the current front man for rock super group Black Country Communion is pleased to announce that he will be performing Deep Purple only material with his "CLASSIC DEEP PURPLE LIVE" nationwide US tour in August-Sept. 2018.

The tour promises to be dynamic, a turn-back-the-clocks, two-hour live extravaganza homage to his tenure in MK 3 and MK 4 incarnations of Deep Purple - one of music history’s most seminal and influential rock and roll groups. With a Facebook following of a quarter million fans, the tour is certain to rock theaters coast to coast.

Quote:
I'm excited to be touring the "Classic Deep Purple Live" in the US late this Summer. I first toured Classic Deep Purple Live in Australia and New Zealand last year and it went down like a storm. We're also touring the show throughout South America in April, and international festivals throughout the Summer. By the time we tour the US, then the UK in October, we'll be on fire.

As well as Glenn on lead vocals and bass guitar, the touring band also features Soren Anderson (guitar), Jesper Bo Hansen (keyboards) and Fer Escobedo (drums).

AUGUST 2018
25th NYCB Theatre - Westbury, NY.
26th Space Ballroom – Hamden, CT.
28th The Stone Pony – Asbury Park, NJ.
29th Sony Hall - New York, NY.
31st The Queen – Wilmington, DE.

SEPTEMBER 2018
1st Chameleon Club - Lancaster, PA.
4th Rams Head On Stage – Annapolis, MD.
5th Jergels - Warrendale, PA.
7th The Keswick Theatre - Glenside, PA.
8th Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe, PA.
11th The Chance Theater - Poughkeepsie, NY.
13th Arcada Theatre - Saint Charles, IL.
16th House of Blues – Cleveland, OH.
18th Tupelo Music Hall - Derry, NH.
19th The Wilbur - Boston, MA.
21st Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel - Providence, RI.
22nd Tarrytown Music Hall – Tarrytown, NY.

Meet n' Greet's should be announced soon for USA shows... although it won't cover every venue - more soon! UK/Europe VIP packages will also be announced shortly

Beginning with the USA shows... Glenn will be joined by a familiar face, but also some new ones, as part of the Classic Deep Purple Live performances

Jeff Kollman - guitars
Mike Mangan - keys
Eduardo De Bernardes Baldo - drums

Got tickets for Arcada show in Illinois September 13. Seems like a lot of tickets left Well worth the 4 hour round trip from Milwaukee.

My 15 year old son thinks he’ll be the youngest person there... told him he has good taste.

I wasn’t going to chance the second leg dates missing my area.

is there a reason no tour merch is available at the USA shows?

The design and vibrant colour of the tour advert/poster is excellent and i'd be buying it plus a shirt if i could.

The one comment on Facebook i see after every show is why no merch.

With 100+ shows Glenn could have sold a truckload of stuff!

Is there a copyright issue having "Deep Purple" on things?

Some venues, however, have designed their own poster.

Glenn is definitely not making the mistake Rod Evans did

It seems, Wolfy, that the crowd at Keswick Theater also complained about the non-available merch.
