Icon34 Classy..like the man

That was a fitting tribute to Mel...with all the warmth and wit of the man himself. I am just so happy that Mel knew how much his music was loved and how many people remembered his work...that he was so flattered by all the props he has received.

Rock and roll can be an ugly business so it is doubly wonderful that Mel accomplished what he did and never let the business change who he was as a man. Nice guys CAN finish first!!

By all the accounts of those who came into contact with Mel, as was the case with Jon Lord, the consensus of opinion appears to be he was that rare breed of musician that seldom exists in such a questionable industry .... a gentleman!
