Off Topic/Bring on Brazil

I hope England play Brazil in the world cup,we've survived the group of death,it's not been an easy route for us,so if we win the world cup it can't be de-valued even though France and Argentina are out.

Cheers...

After today....

anything's possible, eh! Owen finally knabbed a goal, can't wait for the next game...these blokes are loving it. It's been a while since Trafalgar Square has seen English fans in the fountains

too many surprises in these games.
today ireland has been really near to win agaist a bad spain.
i think senegal can go in semi-final.
next game against japan or turkey is not so proibitive for senegal.
also if i see many progress in japanese soccer.
and they play home too.

England and others

Well, England Brazil it is, despite the fact I thought Belgium were desperatly unlucky.
May I take this opportunity to congratulate any American football fans on their team's success. i tipped the USA to do well before the World Cup started and got laughed at. I'm the one laughing now! Well done!

well
the main matter is the kind of italian game.
i think italy against korea have to play with three forwards.
vieri montella totti
vieri inzaghi del piero
montella del piero inzaghi
vieri del vecchio montella.......................
korea played with four forward.
italy was full of fear in the ass.
you can't play in that mode.
because italy is three time world champion.
brazil don't play in that way.

Hi Renato,

Congratulations on reaching the semis!
Seems like this will be a tournament full
of surprises. England never got dangerous, a pity.
As far as Italy is concerned: bad luck also, with so many goals cancelled. And of course Korea has
a Dutch trainer, which might have helped.
I think that the USA deserve a medal for fighting like they did this tournament! If Kahn didn't make
a few great saves, the result might have been
different. But hey, that's football:
22 players, 1 bal and in the end the Germans win....

cheers,

- Fedor
