Icon26 "Burn" guitar cover by Sigurd Kross

Hello everyone,

"Burn" was so long on my "to do" list, so i tried coming through the solopart and shredding it away.
At first i certainly practised using a Fender Strat, but then i felt most comfortable with my Gibson Les Paul.

I hope you enjoy the clip!!

greets
Sigurd Kross

It is the time for a blue song now, written by D.C. and Ritchie Blackmore.
This song became the song of my life in many ways, hope you enjoy!

Nice job on the vocals Sigurd I've found it tough to sing and play an instrument at the same time. What's the secret?

Hey Trapezoid, thanx mate!
It depends on the instrument you play when singing.
I was used to sing and play guitar or piano.
When i saw Hendrix doing his thing it influenced me a lot.
He played the licks and sololines when he didn't sing.
Also i loved to sing Bob Dylan songs at a time.

When you see Elton John or Freddie Mercury singing and playing the piano it looks like they feel (felt) very comfortable and so it is.
Playing bass at the same time is much more difficult, specielly like Glenn: "It is the tones i don't play", i have no idea how it works.

If you want to sing, just do it, practise, practise, practise!

I think it's important to feel free, if one has unsolved big problems in life the voice won't sound good.
When you don't practise a lot the harmonics will not appear, no expensive micro can fix it.
I wanna do some more singing the next time, when i keep my voice in the deeper registry i think i can do some nice lil things, hope it, ha ha!
And never forget about breathing the right way!
Have a nice day,
greets
Sigurd

oh Lioness, can you read my mind?
Exactly the song i'd love to perform next time, but i have some special ideas for a cover, so i'll move on.
"Sail Away" is a miracle!

Sigurd
