marquee ad

hi
just checking the great new lay out etc and as p[romised im slowly going through memo to post but im going to need some help!!
the ad in question i was there with dave but the point is that the ad is very rare cause SMILE in fact were QUEEN playing live before changing name.
the club employers were buzzing when we got there talking about this great band.
just trying to share some memories and apologise if you knew all ready

Ooops no, it's not the same SMILE ! The last concert of SMILE (featuring Brian May, Tim Staffell & Roger Taylor) was in 1970...

Incidentally, Trapeze made no less than 19 appearances at the Marquee, between 1971 & 1978 !

Babe Ruth (also on the poster) featured Micky Moody from Whitesnake if I remember correctly.

Euuhhh, not sure at all about it...

But Bernie Marsden was in Babe Ruth, for sure, in 1975 (when alan Shacklock exited)...
