Yeah...how true! I thought Fish wasn't too bad, I didn't know him before. I definitely liked "Forgotten Sons" but Fish himself seems to be a quite difficult character. Complaining about this and that, especially the small stage, was a bit childish. He couldn't really dance there? And then he tweeted that he "didn't want to watch GH as still slightly fuming at pseudo co headline vibe". Well, instead of sulking he better should have watched GH then he would have seen how it was possible to sing, play bass
and dance on that stage!
I was truly amazed about the energy and feelings that came across as soon as Glenn and his band entered the stage. Wow, it just blew me away. His singing was so gorgeous again and I loved the drum and bass solo in "Keepin' Time"! Got it taped with some talking before (10:51 min.) and will upload it shortly, together with a 3-minute-talk of Glenn and "Cold" (8:31 min.) which I found very, very touching. Taking his glasses off for nearly two minutes while talking made him suddenly look very private and vulnerable. And when he then put his glasses back on and started singing I had a lump in my throat straight away. I love this song anyhow but the passion he put into it on saturday was outstanding. Just a pity that some "fan" kept shouting "Gleeenn!" every few minutes. (Maybe it was the same dickhead who spoilt the taping of the unplugged show?)
But it was also funny when a girl screamed "I love you, Glenn!" and he just said "I love you, too, darling. I give you five dollars for that."
Another favorite song of mine was "Can't Stop The Flood", what a great song! I don't know what it is but when I went back to the hotel I felt like crying. It's not just the voice of Glenn, it's the whole appearance and performing that was knocking me off my feet again. And I loved his pants as well, some really sexy looking patchwork trousers
