Gary Moore on Glenn in 1984 (Sounds Magazine)

Hi,
As I'm eagerly awaiting for Glenn to appear on his current Tour in Holland, I dug up this old interview with Gary Moore in an old "SOUNDS" magazine.

There is a definite "Purple" link as Ian Paice was in his band at the time and he was also trying to lure Glenn into his band.

He succesfully did so a year later in 1985 on his "Run for Cover" album

Too bad Glenn didn't sing on G-force, one of my fave Gary Moore albums.
Hard too imagine Glenn being in a G-force supporting Whitesnake, as G-force did.
And , wow, Carter looks like the alien brother of Ronnie Montrose in the one pic and the mousse-abuse soulmate of Tony Franklin in the other.......

No idea about the origin, Ad. Found the pic last year when Gary died.

Regardless of the hairdo, you'll always recognize Neil Carter coz he's got the most amazing blue eyes.
