I also have a bunch of dates to send you. Waiting for confirmation from Glenn, so if you could put a bug in his ear

I also have a not so good review for an early Whisky A Go Go gig I need to scan and get to you.

I notice that support for the Walsall gig was 'Tear Gas', presumably the Scottish band that not too long after this added a new vocalist and became the Sensational Alex Harvey Band...

Ladies and gentlemen...The"Oo!"

"The Who Concert File" and "Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere; The Complete Chronicle" both state that Trapeze were the opening act for The Who at Civic Hall in Wolverhampton on Monday, August 24, 1970.

One day we will have all the holes filled in!

Bill, Tony Perry told me that when Trapeze supported The Who their sound through the main PA seemed really low and when he complained was told that's all there was. Then when The Who came on stage it was so loud their ears nearly exploded He said he learned a valuable lesson that night!

I guess Tony did learn that lesson, because I know for sure I wouldn't have wanted to follow Trapeze when they came here

I see Stray on the bill with them. I read a great article in Classic Rock on them a while back and bought the albums Saturday Morning Pictures and Suicide as a result. Enjoyed them both and shame they didnt hit the big time.

Yeah, saw Stray a couple of times back in the '70's, great band. Del Bromham is still active - check out his website
