The Bombastic Meatbats sophmore release 'More Meat'!! will be available on October 19th, 2010 (Warrior/ Universal Records).

The Bats will be featured on KLOS Los Angeles with a live performance on Tuesday, October 19th, 2010.

Stay tuned for some East Coast and West Coast dates in November.

1 show cancellation and 4 additional dates...

The show scheduled for Baltimore, MD on November 17th at Ottobar has been cancelled.

A third show has been added for Nov. 21st in NYC at the Iridium and 4 more new dates added for Colorado

Caught the show last night,,, sitting at the bar right next to Jeff Kollman....all were in fine form. The Meatbats have some really great songs, too, great melodies and there was one incredible fast song with Jeff and Ed playing the complicated riff together. Must get their CDs. Got to thank Chad for sitting in with us in July and he remembered and thanked me. Unfortunately Justin forgot my food order so I drank one beer, put 6 bucks on the bar and left after the first set (was only staying for one set anyway). Funny I was there a couple of years ago and there were two uneaten plates at the bar. He seemed mystified (as was I) as to why the people left. If the bar food orders come 90 mins later, the people have gone! Dumb. (Not mad about it)

An update from my prevous post... For those in the area... a FREE concert from The Meatbats is upcoming... January 13th, 2011

The Meatbats play another gig in a couple of weeks - they will have special guest, Shane Gaalaas (drums) join them on March 8th at The Baked Potato in Studio City, CA.

Just checked my flight times. we dont actually land until the evening so wont make Chad's show We have to leave our house at 7am UK time so will already have been a hell of a long day. If only they were playing a day later!

John, we'll be packing up ready to leave for Honolulu so wont make it to your show either

Typical really - in US when Bonamassa plays Birmingham and fly back a week before he plays LA!
