Sad/UnHappy RIP Dick Clark

Dick Clark, the music industry maverick, longtime TV host and powerhouse producer who changed the way we listened to pop music with "American Bandstand," and whose trademark "Rockin' Eve" became a fixture of American New Year's celebrations, died today at the age of 82.

Clark's agent Paul Shefrin said in statement that the veteran host died this morning following a "massive heart attack."

He also produced the "In Concert" rock-music series of shows, including the outdoor "California Jam" concert held April 6th, 1974, broadcast on Friday nights on "ABC's Wide World of Entertainment".

Sad news of Dick Clark passing. He was a TV broadcast giant.

I agree with you Tony, the In Concert series was also my favorite music show of the seventies.
