Wow - this is really superb. If Joe ever drops out of BCC, Sren can easily replace him.

Glenn must have had kinda dj-vu feeling last night, playing at KB Hallen after 38 years...

Great great show in Copenhagen. Might just have to see if I can get to one of the remaining dates on the tour. Also met Glenn for the first time after the show. Got this quick photo with him just as they were getting on the tourbus.

I was initially hesitant when it came to BCC, but live is another experience. It was good seeing Glenn on a big stage again, and although the sound could have been better, the band/show was really powerful (which the Youtube clips don't really capture).

Another cool thing was how Glenn restrained his vocals a bit more than usual, to great effect. Having said that, I'm looking forward to the next batch of solo shows with the return of the wah-wah bass pedal (hopefully) and some extended vocal parts

With BCC off and running we'll get the best of both worlds, while Glenn hopefully extends his fanbase at the same time.

Exactly. It's no good being an armchair critic, you can only do so, after experiencing it live!

Next year should see more live BCC dates in different cities, so hopefully more will get the chance

The venue, KB-Hallen, in Frederiksberg, a suburb of Copenhagen, Denmark, burned down earlier today, the cause of the fire is still under investigation, with no injuries reported.

The building was of course, where Glenn made his live debut with Purple and just this past year, a triumphant return with Black Country Communion.

KB Hallen, site of MK III's debut has burned to the ground.

MK III debuted there on December 9, 1973. And of course Purple played there many times all marks and tons of other bands too. Sad.

Everyone in that pic on Highway Star displays swagger and confidence except David- how things would change!
