JON LORD: the studio Orchestra recording!

Good old JON is getting busier and busier. Now he had announced that he will be finally making a studio recording of the Concerto for Group and Orchestra. This will be the definite Concerto, according to JON. Unfortunately there is no other DP member (past and present) involved. Still I hope for JON that it will be a good recording. But, I'm looking more foreward to the JON LORD BLUES PROJECT live. That is for me the most interesting thing he did after Purple. Of course JON and his Hammond are still superb

Would certainly still be interesting to hear if they can replicate the same sound and feel to it

Sure that's interesting. Let's wait who are the musicians on that record

oh, thats amazing to look forward. Lordy's still surprising, the magician of the hammond, and most his way of travelling through musical styles, putting it all together, transforming it to a new musically message.
Now what i'm thinking about the last time:
What might happen, if some musicians/members of the classical orchestre, he's working with, would improvise parts too like the group members do.
Or just better say instant composing:
After the guitarsolo or the organsolo there could be for example a cellist, who does a improvised solo.
Perhaps it was happening but i don't know. Anybody know about that?
