Icon19 'Written All Over Your Face'

I've updated my My Space playlist and included WAOYF. Towards the end of the guitar solo GH can be heard quietly speaking in the background ... does anyone know what he is saying?

Shirl's Sig:'You thought that you could take me for granted, but I couldn't take it no more. Better run if you see me coming ... '

What about that amazing scream Glenn does after he sings It is written......

That has to be one of the most intense things I have ever heard in my life.
Each time I hear that, it freaks me out - in a good way Glenn, a good way mate!

Yes Mike - I forgot how good that part of the song was until I played it on my playlist, and with JJ's guitar playing too ... and I do remember that live it was breath-taking!

I must admit lazy it has to be up there with some of the best songs ever ... I can play an album repeatedly but I seem to REALLY hear it if I play it years later, and then realise how wonderful it was in the first place! Some music grabs me right away and, like the best wines, the real 'keepers' become pure magic with age!

Definitely one of the finest pieces of music I've ever heard. That high note is unreal. I have played the Soulfully Live DVD for people and always like to watch their face by the time this song comes up, just to see their expression. lol

Same here. The whole record was a kind of peak for me. Everybody has a different taste but for me nothing came ever close to SITKOR again, whatever came afterwards.
It is very sad that each and every tune of that era has diappeared from every live set. Me, and I know Im not alone with this, I would rather hear some of these tunes instead of these DP tunes, which I really cant hear anymore.
Think about it. Same goes for BTM songs, which are some of the greatest that he ever did. "The Way it is" ....the same.
Just my 2 cents.

Ah totally!!!! Props for this song! I love it to death and always will! I'm sure I've lost tons of hearing screaming along to that scream! I sing this song alot in the car. If it's not Angela that's number one with me it would have to be this one.
