Sad/UnHappy Praying for Ronnie
I'm telling you that as a cancer survivor, I just can't stop crying having just heard the news about Dio having cancer. We should all pray for Ronnie. He has touched me so deeply through out the years.

That is such sad news, Martin, Paul J and I were all set for last Sunday's gig in Sheffield which was cancelled and I didn't know why. I wish it had been for a better reason. I pray that he can be treated and beat this. xxx

Ronnie's music with his bands and solo has greatly influenced me as a musician and I can't think of too many others who've made so many classic albums. Hope he gets well soon.

What a singer - what a personality: a legend!

I hope that he is able to recover.

Having heard the news today, I'm not only thinking of RJ Dio, but also of my grandma in Switzerland who died from stomach cancer in August 1986. Such a long time ago, but when the memories hit you, it seems like only yesterday

Get well, Mr. Dio and kill the dragon!

A good friend and co-worker of mine succumbed to stomach cancer after suffering with it for over a year just this past Spring....my prayers will go out to Ronnie James Dio

Ronnie is one of my favorite Rock 'n Roll Artists ever, and it breaks my heart every time I remember such a bad thing has happened to him. My Father had intestine cancer last year and it was really tough for me and everyone in my family to hold it together when we recieved the news, we where very lucky that it was an early stage tumor and after the surgery He managed recover completely! Ronnie will overcome this for sure, I think about him everyday and I'll keep on sending groovy vibes his way forever.

Heaven & Hell have cancelled their proposed 2010 European festival dates (which were due to have included the High Voltage 2-dayer in London and the Bloodstock heavy metal 3-dayer in Derby.

An official statement on Tony Iommi's website states: "We have to announce that all forthcoming Heaven & Hell European shows have been cancelled as sadly Ronnie isn't well enough to tour this summer. We hope that everyone understands and want to thank fans and industry colleagues for their continuing support at this time."

And from RJD himself:-"I would like to voice my great disappointment on the cancellation of the Heaven And Hell summer tour. Wendy, my doctors and I have worked so hard to make it happen for all of you, the ones we care so much about, that this set back could be devastating, but we will not let it be. With your continued love and support, we... will carry on and thrive. There will be other tours, more music, more life and much more magic."

I think calling off the tour was a wise decision, of course everyone would LOVE to see and hear Ronnie's powerfull voice, Tony's killer guitar work, Geezer ripin' the Bass, and Vinnie Pounding the kit again. But health has to come first always

Dio is back in the hospital...and isn't doing too good according to Wendy Dio. There were rumours he had died Saturday, which were blatantly false. I just don't have a good feeling about this situation. Terrible.
